Clear answers about boats, safety, inclusions, meeting points, and planning. If you still have questions, contact us and we’ll guide you.

Are your tours private?

Yes. Salty Rides operates private cruises only. Your boat, skipper, and onboard setup are dedicated exclusively to your group.

Can I customize my cruise?

Yes. Because every cruise is private, we can adjust the route, timing, and swim stops based on your preferences and the day’s conditions. Your skipper will always guide choices with comfort and safety in mind.

Where do we meet for departure?

Your meeting point depends on your tour and conditions. Common departure points include Pollonia (Milos), Adamas (Milos), Platis Gialos (Sifnos) and hotel docks when available. Your confirmation message includes the exact location and timing.

How many guests can join?

Capacity depends on the boat category. Your quote and confirmation will state the maximum guest count for the selected boat.

Are kids allowed?

Yes. Families are welcome. For very young children, a shorter duration is usually more comfortable due to sun, wind, and time at sea. If you share ages, we can recommend the best plan.

Do your boats have shade?

Yes. Boats have a fixed hard-top shade and, during stops, additional shade coverage can be set up depending on the boat and conditions.

Is there a toilet on board?

Yes. Our boats include a toilet. Please note that onboard toilets are compact compared to land facilities.

What is included in the cruise?

Included items vary by tour and boat category, but typically cover essentials such as skipper, towels, snorkeling gear, drinks, and key onboard amenities. Your booking confirmation lists what is included for your specific cruise.

Do you provide sea scooters and SUP?

Yes, depending on the tour and boat category. If a specific sea toy is important for your group, mention it when requesting your booking so we can confirm availability.

Is first aid available on board?

Yes. Our skippers are first-aid trained and boats carry the required medical supplies, which are maintained regularly.

What happens if there is bad weather?

If conditions are not suitable for the planned route, your skipper may adjust the route for comfort, suggest an alternative departure plan when applicable, or propose a reschedule. If the tour cannot operate and cannot be rescheduled, refunds follow the Terms and Cancellation Policy.

Is fuel included in the price?

Fuel is typically not included and depends on route and boat category. We share estimates in advance when relevant, and the final fuel cost is confirmed on the day according to conditions and actual route.

What should we bring with us?

Bring swimwear, sunscreen and a hat. Your skipper will advise if anything extra is recommended for the day.

How early should we arrive?

Please arrive on time at the agreed meeting point. Your confirmation message includes the exact location and departure time so boarding can proceed smoothly without unnecessary waiting.

Is swimming suitable for beginners?

Yes. Stops are chosen with conditions in mind, and you can enjoy the water at your own pace. If anyone is not a confident swimmer, tell us in advance so we can plan calmer locations and timing.

Can you arrange hotel pickup?

Yes, in many cases. If your hotel has a dock, pickup by boat may be possible. Otherwise, we can arrange a land transfer to the closest suitable departure point.
